Terms of Service
Last updated October 19, 2026
Plain-language summary: use PartnerDesk responsibly, follow Discord’s rules, only configure servers you manage, and be honest with your partners. Full terms below.
Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the PartnerDesk website, the PartnerDesk Discord bot, and the PartnerDesk Utilities bot and support server (together, the “Service”). By signing in, adding PartnerDesk to a server, joining the support server, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility and authority
- You must meet Discord’s minimum age requirement and follow the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times.
- If you configure PartnerDesk for a server, you confirm that you own it or hold the Manage Server permission, and that you are allowed to act for that community.
What the Service does
- PartnerDesk lets server operators set up a partnership program, publish partnership notices through a Discord command, assign representative roles, track partnerships and alerts, and discover other participating servers.
- PartnerDesk Utilities runs the PartnerDesk support server: account verification, support tickets, moderation tools and server logging.
Your account and access
You sign in with Discord. We request your Discord identity and the list of servers you belong to so we can show only the servers you manage. You are responsible for activity carried out through your Discord account and for keeping it secure. Access to a server’s dashboard depends on your permissions in that server, and it can change or end when those permissions change.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or violate Discord’s Terms, Community Guidelines or Developer Policy;
- publish partnership content that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, deceptive, malicious, or that promotes scams, phishing or illegal activity;
- send spam or mass unsolicited advertising, or use the Service to invite people into servers that break Discord’s rules;
- attempt to access another server’s data or settings, bypass permission checks, or probe, disrupt or overload the Service;
- scrape, resell or reverse engineer the Service, or use it to build a competing database of servers;
- impersonate others, or name someone as a representative without their agreement.
Partnership content and representatives
You keep ownership of the advertisements and other content you submit. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and display that content as needed to run the Service, including posting it to the Discord channel you choose and storing a record of it.
You are responsible for your content and for making sure the people you name as representatives are aware that PartnerDesk will assign them the roles you configured. PartnerDesk is not a party to any partnership between servers and does not vet, endorse or guarantee any server shown in recommendations. Review a server yourself before you partner with it or join it.
Support server
- New members must verify with Discord before they can see the rest of the support server.
- Support tickets create a private channel visible to you and the relevant staff. Closing a ticket deletes the channel.
- Activity in the support server is logged for moderation and security (see the Privacy Policy).
- Messages sent in any channel marked as a “honeypot” result in an automatic ban.
Suspension and removal
We may warn, restrict, block or remove any user or server, remove the bot from a server, or delete content at any time if we believe these Terms have been broken, if required by law or by Discord, or to protect the Service or other communities. A blocked server cannot use PartnerDesk and the bot may leave it. You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server and signing out.
Third-party services
The Service depends on Discord and on hosting providers. We do not control them and are not responsible for their outages, changes or actions, including Discord restricting or removing the bot or your account.
Fees
If we introduce paid features, the price and any extra terms will be shown to you before you pay.
Availability and disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that any particular feature will always exist, or that using it will grow your community or produce partnerships. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PartnerDesk and its owner and staff are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or community members, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing. Some places do not allow these limits, so they apply only as far as the law allows.
Your responsibility
You agree to cover claims, losses and costs that arise from content you submit, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we will try to announce them in the support server. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where the PartnerDesk owner is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law where you live.
